The high performance hydraulic submersible Selwood Hydrosub pumps comprise 2", 3", 4", 6" and 8" models with electric start diesel driven hydraulic power packs fully protected by an automatic shutdown system.
A unique feature of this range of pumps is their versatility. The hydraulic wet ends, available in aluminium, cast iron or stainless steel, are capable of a high flow and low head or a low flow and high head.
The hydraulic system can run on synthetic biodegradable or vegetable oil which significantly reduces harmful environmental pollution. The hydraulics incorporate a large return filter ensuring that any contaminants are captured and the fuel tank has flushing panels and a drain facility as well as providing 24hr running capability. Safety features include full engine protection and hydraulic shut off through oil loss.
High specification motors and replaceable stainless steel wear plates are featured throughout the range. Super Silent versions are available with noise levels from as low as 60db(A) at 22ft (7m).
The Borehole pump is designed for use in methane environments such as landfill sites. This pump achieves its high head despite its small diameter utilising two or three stage impellers. The pump is designed to be as smooth as possible with a bullet profile for easy borehole insertion.
